20”x16” multimedia collage on canvas
I made this piece following the military operations carried out in Venezuela, the themes of which remain all the more relevant as global events continue to unfold. The choices heads of government have made in order to get an economic upperhand throughout the oil crisis have led to untold hardship, damage, and death. Their hands are soaked with the blood of cruelly collateralizing fragile ecosystems and people’s lives for the sake of power.
