˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀ my commissions are open˖𓍢ִ໋❀˚

I adore working with other people to help bring their visions to life, for themselves or as a gift for loved ones. Part of why I got into making clothes and decorations for myself was that I didn’t see my personal style reflected in fast fashion or the generic mass-produced wares available in stores. Extending this ability to customize your wardrobe and possessions to others is one of my favorite ways to engage artistically. Collaboration makes the world go ‘round!

Process: Email kitschycreationsart@gmail.com with a description of what you’re hoping to commission. Schedule permitting, I should get back to you within a couple days and we’ll go from there!

Pricing: Varies wildly per project!! Some factors include if I am able to use materials I already have or need to source new ones, pattern designing from existing or from scratch, labor time for the actual making, and shipping costs if not local. I try to make my pricing as fair to both of us as I can, as accessibility is a cornerstone of my artistic practice. If you let me know your range/budget, I’m sure we can work something out! I am also open to doing exchanges with other artists in some cases :)

Types of commissions I’ve done in the past:

Mending/Basic alteration: repairing damaged clothing (or blankets) or fixing slight fit issues like hem length or taking seams in/out

Upcycling: taking a piece of clothing you have and changing the fit or adding applique/other elements to it

Garment recreation: taking an item of clothing you already love/know fits well and making a copy of it essentially, with custom tweaks or additions as desired.

Ready-made replication: See something in my portfolio and/or ready-made section that you like? While all my pieces are one-of-a-kind, I am happy to remake designs in other materials.

Bespoke design: sitting down and planning an entirely new garment based on reference images and sketches to create a piece custom fit to your personal style and measurements. Keep in mind, this is the most labor intensive type of commission, and thus more expensive.

Accessories/home decor:

  • Tapestry crochet/wall hangings

  • Baby blankets

  • Throw pillows (& reg. pillowcases)

  • Crochet hats/knit hoods

  • Stuffed animals/OCs

  • Tote bags

  • Trinket/crystal pouches

  • Plant hangers

  • Christmas tree skirt

  • Custom journal covers using multimedia collage

  • Wands for magical purposes using found nature objects, crystals, and yarn

I like to consider myself a jack of many trades with expansive creative endeavors - just because it’s not listed here, doesn’t mean it’s not in my wheelhouse! Feel free to reach out with your ideas and let’s make it happen together :))
